Baby Grows To The Size Of A 1-Year-Old In 10 Weeks!

A first-time mother believes her three-month-old son may just be Britain’s biggest baby after growing to the same size as an eight-month-old in just ten weeks, his last weigh-in.

Diana Kuznetsova, 29, and partner Ben Castle, 33, from Canterbury, Kent, were delighted to welcome Jack Stanley Castle into the world in February, after a three-day labour and two weeks past his due date.

At a whopping 11lbs 11oz and measuring 61cm, he had to be taken to Mothercare as soon as they got him home from hospital, because none of the 0-3-month clothes or nappies would fit.

Jack, who is 14 weeks old, now has to wear clothes sized for a one-year-old.

His mum, Diana, said: ‘I started showing when I was about four weeks pregnant. Jack just kept growing and growing – by the end I was massive.”

Diana’s bump was growing so rapidly that she had to have regular check-ups with doctors to monitor her health and that of her then unborn child.

She said: ‘They couldn’t understand why my baby was growing so big. Everyone thought I was having triplets. The doctors couldn’t believe the size of my baby when he came out. One of them said I was having a boy ready for primary school. He was huge.’

At his ten-week check-up, he weighed in at 17lbs – about the average for a six to eight-month old.

‘Lifting Jack up is like a workout, he’s huge. We’ve got no idea why he’s so massive – he’s not fat or anything, he’s just my big beautiful boy,’ Diana said.
