Zoe Saldana’s Husband Marc Perego Takes Her Last Name

When two people get married, it is either expected that woman adopts her husband’s last name or keep her name. Zoe Saldana’s husband has broken these norms as he has instead choosen to be called Mr. Saldana.

E! News has reported that Zoe’s husband, Marco, is now Mr. Saldana. Zoe told In Style magazine: “I tried to talk him out of it. I told him, ‘If you use my name, you’re going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world.’ But Marco looks up at me and says, ‘Ah, Zoe, I don’t give a s**t.'”
