You Won’t Believe This Pregnant Mum’s Bizarre Craving

An expectant mum in Bristol, Jess Gayford, 26, has developed a bizarre craving for eating soap. Yes, you read right. She can’t help eating soap!

According to Mirror UK, Jess, who is nearly eight months’ pregnant with her second child, started with bars and subsequently moved on to liquid soap. She now gets through up to two bottles a week.

She said: “It came out of nowhere. I wanted to lick a bar of Dove soap. I went to buy a bar and started licking it. It sounds disgusting but it’s really nice.”

Jess has a five-year-old son, Alfie, with partner Lee Trimby, 31.

Lee was worried at first but they have been told it won’t harm their unborn daughter.
