Fatherhood: Simon Cowell On Nappy Duties With Son Eric

Simon Cowell seems to have stepped it up in his fatherly duties as he recently admitted to changing the nappy of his 16 month old son Eric.

Over time Cowell has been seen as a father who will not be involved in such duties especially as he has a lot on his plate due to his busy schedule but it seems that is about to change.

The Daily Mail reports:

The media mogul has become well known for his hands-off parenting style – even claiming that he would not brandish a wet wipe for £10,000.

But it appears that his girlfriend Lauren Silverman, the mother of his 16-month-old son Eric, has finally managed to convince the multi-millionaire to get his hands dirty.

In a recent interview, the Britain’s Got Talent judge, who is back in LA to spend time with his family, admitted he has changed ‘quite a few’ nappies.

Just last month, the 55-year-old told Hello! magazine that he loves being a father, but he had yet to change a nappy.

And last year he said he would not take over nappy-changing duties, even for £10,000.

Cowell opened up about his family life during an interview for Extra TV with former girlfriend Terri Seymour.

He revealed Eric has inherited a number of his qualities and said they share a love of animals.

When asked about whether he has changed any nappies yet, Cowell quipped, ‘Yeah, quite a few Terri’.
