A little girl who has to wear an eye patch has become a viral star thanks to her inventive dad

Layla Grubb, from Midwest US, is just one year old, but she was born with an cataract which means she has to wear an eye patch every day.

If she wears one until she’s four, she’ll likely avoid the need for surgery, but in the mean time, dad Geoffrey has a novel idea.

He creates a brand new customised eye patch every day – and then posts pictures of them online.
