BIZARRE: Meet 40-Year-Old Man Married To A Doll

A Germany-based photographer, Sandra Hoyn, has documented the life of a bizarre couple, Dirk and Jenny. Unlike every other couple, Dirk’s wife, Jenny, is a doll he bought for 6,000 euros!

According to reports, Dirk (pseudo name) is 40 years old, works from home and has married once before Jenny. Dirk says a psychological breakdown from feeling lonely made him buy the doll. They got married in Dirk’s flat with Neil Young’s Such a Woman playing, and he gave her a heart shaped pendent on a chain instead of a wedding ring. He believes the doll loves him the way he does and addresses her as a person.

The doll stays hidden from his friends and family, including his child and ex-wife. One of his biggest fantasies is that one day he will be able to bring Jenny out in the public.

“At the moment, I don’t need any other women. Otherwise she would have to share my love with Jenny,” he said.
