See How A Policeman Helped A Mum Of Six Children

A mum of six was left speechless by the kind gesture of a policeman after she was caught for shoplifting.

The Mirror reports:

Sarah Robinson, from Kansas, told ABC News that she had been struggling to make ends meet since the tragic death of her husband in 2012.

After losing her house, she spent most of her time living in her car with her six daughters Emily, 15, 13-year-old Sophia, 12-year-old Angelina, 4-year-old Miley and two-year-old twins Becky and Bella, but when their possessions were recently stolen, Sarah grew desperate. She said: “I went to Walmart, grabbed clothes, shoes, diapers, wipes, and I just walked out, but they caught me.”

When police officer Mark Engravalle showed up to the scene, he noticed that the mum was stealing necessities for her children some of whom were barefoot.

Sarah continued: “My heart just dropped. I didn’t know what to say or do. It was horrible. I thought I was going to jail.”

Instead of arresting her, the kind hearted cop himself a father of two went back into the store with her children and bought nappies, baby wipes and clothes even letting the girls pick out their own shoes.

Engravalle told the Kansas City Star: “I didn’t give it a second thought. I just wanted to do right by the children.”

Since the incident, the local police station has been inundated with requests from the community asking how they can help the Robinsons.
