Father Overwhelmed With Joy As Son Stands And Walks Straight Again

A father was in tears and overwhelmed with joy when he saw his 17-year-old son stand and walk straight again after being bent for 12 weeks.

Muntathar, 17, had contacted Dr Ian of the Chiropractic Excellence clinic in Australia back in April explaining that he had been unable to stand up straight for 12 weeks. The teen’s pain was so severe that he didn’t “want to live anymore”. He had little to no feeling in his right leg.

The injury had occurred after Muntathar had pulled out a tree root while working near his home in the US. His exact address was not given out by the clinic. After being turned away by several US clinics, Muntathar decided to make the trip to Australia as a last ditch attempt to get help with his injury.

When Muntathar walked into the surgery, he could barely walk and was bent double but not only was Muntathar desperate for help, he wanted help fast so he would be able to walk upright for his graduation just over two months away.

Dr Ian, a Gonstead trained chiropractor, immediately started treatment, performing a back correction that helped Muntathar stand up a little straighter. Day two consisted of a neck adjustment.

Muntathar said: “Eight or nine times I’ve been to the emergency department. I didn’t want to even live anymore because of my back, it was sore as anything and it was so embarrassing.”

His father added: “For three months he just stayed in a bed and took pain medication.” But incredibly, after consistent treatment for two weeks, Muntathar’s severe back problems gradually improved.

Even more amazingly after his course of treatment had come to an end, Muntathar stunned staff at the clinic as well as his family by walking out of the medical facility at his full height with a straight back.

Muntathar’s father, who spent two weeks by his son’s side during the treatment, was overwhelmed by the transformation in his child. Sobbing at the sight of his son he said: “I don’t believe it.”

Thanks to Dr Ian’s help, Muntathar was able to achieve his dream and stand tall and proud at his graduation. Since his treatment, Muntathar has decided to become a chiropractor after being inspired by Dr Ian and his team.
