See What Aggrieved Hubby Did After Wife Refused His Sexual Advances
An Omaha man, Gilberto Garcia, 36, allegedly set fire to his home after his wife refused his sexual advances.
According to an Omaha Police Department report, firefighters who responded to the house fire near 21st and Oak Streets at 11:30 p.m. on July 20, determined that the fire, which erupted from a closet, had been intentionally set, and his wife told police that her husband was responsible.
She added that she and Garcia had been drinking and arguing most of the evening. She went to bed but awoke to find Garcia making sexual advances.
After spurning her husband’s advances, she went back to sleep only to be awakened by the smell of smoke. She got up to check and found her husband in a bathroom closet setting fire to her clothes.
She luckily escaped with her three children and she called 911.
Garcia who fled the scene was arrested two days later, and now faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted of felony.
