You Won’t Believe What Brothers Did to Tenant & Pregnant Wife Over Electricity Bill in Lagos
Two brothers in the Mushin area of Lagos, Rabiu Rasaq, 42, and Sulaimon Rasaq, 38, allegedly battered their tenants, Samuel Eke and his pregnant wife, Blessing, during a feud which erupted over payment of electricity bill.
According to Nigerian Tribune, before Eke and his wife moved into the house said to belong to the suspects’ late father, they had not been paying electricity bills for years.
Trouble started after Rabiu and Sulamon asked Eke for his contribution to offset the electricity bill and he insisted that he would not pay unless they also contributed.
Angry, they allegedly grabbed Eke and his pregnant wife, beat them to a pulp and damaged their property.
They have been charged before an Isolo Magistrates’ Court in Lagos where they pleaded not guilty, and were remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending when they will perfect their bail.
The case was adjourned till September 22.

They should be sentenced to serve full punishment. Who gave them right to beat up any1 cos of govt. utility bill?
Imagine old men @ 42 and 38 fighting over light bills smh. Shameless fools.

The judge did well. People just take laws into their own hands and do things they are not supposed to do.
Hmmm, beating not just your tenant but also his pregnant wife? Nawa!
