See What Dad Did To Boy For Fighting Over A Toy With His Son

The police have arrested a Chinese man for allegedly murdering his neighbor’s son and disposing his body into a cesspit.

The suspect, 25 only identified as Mr Li, confessed he strangled three-year-old Zhou Shijie because the child fought for a toy with his own son when they were playing together, reported People’s Daily Online.

Mr Li, a father of two children and the victim’s family have been long-time neighbors and good friends. They live in the city of Yibin, central China.

The chilling murder happened on August 23 when little Shijie went to Mr Li’s house to play with the man’s son. Shijie had gone out for a stroll with his grandfather beforehand. When the pair visited a tea house, Zhou’s grandfather fell asleep in the shop. It was believed that the child then wandered away on his own and went into Mr Li’s house. Initially, the Zhou family thought the child went missing.

But a CCTV footage, shot by a security camera in the compound they live in showed Shijie going into his neighbour’s house at about 1:50pm and never came out of the building again.

When Zhou Qiang, the victim’s father went to talk to his neighbour, Mr Li admitted seeing Shijie but he also said he went out to run errands later that afternoon and Shijie had already left when he returned home. Having searched in vain the Zhou family reported the case to the police.

Mr Li was taken away by the police on August 24 for investigation and on August 27, the family received the devastating news confirming Shijie’s death. They were also informed that it was indeed Mr Li who killed the boy.

According to reports, Mr Li confessed to the police that he strangled Shijie with bare hands on the afternoon of August 23, after witnessing the young child fighting for a toy digger with is own son. He said Shijie had pushed his son over during the fight which angered him. Mr Li then transported Shijie’s body to his old house with a scooter and dumped his body in the cesspit in a bid to destroy evidences.

The victim’s father Zhou Qiang said: ‘Mr. Li and I grew up together in the same village and have been really good friends.  Our kids played together all the time. We looked after each other’s kids often. When we bought snacks we also bought two portions.

The murderer is described by neighbours as an introvert man. He is said to live a simple life with his wife and two children. The case is still under investigation.
