UNBELIEVABLE: 20 Year Old Newly Wed Hangs Herself After Husband Takes Her Phone Away
A 20-year-old newly wedded woman has hung herself following a dispute with her husband, the Times of India reports.
The newly wed wife, identified only as Aparna from the Kerala region, became upset and hung herself in protest following a dispute with her husband, a lorry driver who was often away from long periods of time, over her addiction to her mobile device.
She stormed off after he’d confiscated her phone due to her constant use of Facebook and Whatsapp and locked herself up in her room, refusing to open the door despite entreaties from the husband and family members.
The Times of India reports that the husband then kicked the door down only to find her dangling from the ceiling. Traumatized by the occurrence, the husband also attempted to take his own life, but was subdued by relatives at the scene.
Madness. Take his own life for what? Sometimes when I hear people kill themselves, I wonder if they know there’s a God up there who gave them life. Kill yourself over a phone? Smh
