A six-year-old boy has had his fingers and genitals cut off by a neighbor because he disturbed her sleep while playing.

According to Mirror, the woman Liu Tao, who lives in Shandong, China took the boy known as Xiaoming out of her room when he first disturbed her but when the boy came back to the room a second time and disturbed her again, she grabbed a scissors and knife and attacked the boy, cutting his face, head, fingers and genitals and left him on the floor bleeding.

Liu after committing the deadly act ran away from the area but she was later caught by the authorities in her village.

Liu who faces 10 or more years in prison for her crime refused to disclose where the cut body items were kept until they were eventually found in in a vase and sent to the hospital where the boy is being treated.

Doctors have however stated that due to the seriousness of Xiaoming’s injuries, they may not be able to reattach his fingers and genitals because they have been separated from his body for a long time.

Reports also state that Liu may be cleared of her crime if a medical report can show that she suffers from a mental issue.
