Couple Who Share Bed With Five Children Respond To Criticism
A woman who gave reasons why her entire family shared a bed (read here) has responded to criticism she has received since sharing her family’s unusual sleeping pattern.
In an emotional YouTube Video, Elizabeth Boyce, 35 said: “I feel like there’s a lot of judgment, and hate, and honestly I really thought that people were nicer than they are. Maybe it’s just the nature of social media that you forget there’s a person behind the story.”
“We’re being told that because our children do not have their own rooms, we’re abusing them. I don’t understand how we are so close-mined and ignorant of how most of our world lives. It is so entitled for anyone to say that because you don’t have a room of your own, you’re being abused.”
Despite the criticism Elizabeth and her family has received, some people have come out to support her with a YouTube user stating: “You are a wonderful, strong, courageous woman. I so admire your dedication to your family and you guys just keep doing what you are doing. I don’t know how anyone could call what you are doing child abuse.
