BABY RECIPE: Yellow Maize Puree

Delight your growing baby’s taste buds with this nutritious home mede-puree. This is appropriate from 12 months.

You’ll need
2 medium size sweet potatoes
100 grams yellow maize (cooked)
200 grams cauliflower
1 small leek (cut into smaller pieces)
2 tbsp butter
50 grams turkey sausage ( 75% + turkey)
2 medium size tomatoes

How to prepare

Peel , wash and cook sweet potatoes on a medium heat. Once soft, cut sausage and tomatoes into smaller pieces and add them to it. Allow to cook for 2 minutes and add maize, cauliflower and leek. Let it simmer on a low heat until cauliflower is soft. Add butter and blend the whole mixture into a soft paste. Serve warm.
