WEIRD NEWS: Heartbroken Man Marries Ashes Of Dead Girlfriend

There are all kinds of events going on out there and this is just one of them.

A distraught man after being so upset by the death of his girlfriend has married her ashes.

According to reports, the man, known by the name Mr Lai, had a wedding in Hsinchu village, Taiwan, along with a farewell ceremony with their friends and family. It is thought he wanted to show his commitment to the woman even after she was dead – so married her ashes.

The video is clearly filled with emotion, as Mr Lai and the people attending the ceremony appear to be wiping away tears during the proceedings.

Ghost marriages are not that uncommon in Asia, where a dying man marries a female corpse to keep him happy into the afterlife.

However, dressing an urn in a wedding dress and having a ceremony like this one is slightly more unheard of.
