See Why Man Attacked His Best Friend On His Wedding Day
A man from Zimbabwe was irate when he recently stumbled upon his ex wife being wedded to his best friend at the Harare Magistrates’ Courts, Zimetro News reports. The angry ex husband, 40-year-old Cosmas Kanhonho reportedly launched himself at his love rival and best friend, Bothwell Danda, before he was arrested by police.
Kanhonho said that he and his wife of 17 years, Agnes Manjese, had gone their separate ways in 2011, after she caught him with a girlfriend. However, he claims he had come to court for some other business but was shocked seeing Manjese getting married to his best friend.

Danda reportedly bled from the nose after Kanhonho attacked him. While the fight between the two men was going on, Manjese who had gone to get cash from the car returned. When she saw her ex-husband beating up her newly wedded husband she called for the police. Manjese had been granted a protection order from Kanhonho sometimes in March.
The woman told police that her ex-husband had actually breached the order before, but had evaded arrest then. Kanhonho on his part told police that Manjese was still his wife and that their separation was temporary. He also insinuated that Danda was a wife thief saying,
“Danda is my best friend and I used to take care of him at my own house. I would sometimes give him money for rentals, little did I know, he was after my wife.
We used to go together at Raylton Gym and I didn’t even suspect that he was evil. When I separated with my wife she took my car and $12 000 before taking a protection order against me and I believe this was caused by Danda,” he fumed.
He also said the wedding came as a shock to him since he had initially gone to court for another business. Danda said he met Manjese in April this year and they fell in love; explaining that,
“I met my wife (Manjese) in April this year in South Africa and I proposed love to her. We fell in love and we came here just to consummate our union. I was surprised when Kanhonho attacked me soon after we had been photographed. He is a sour loser, the wife is now mine.”
Danda suffered a split lip during the attack.
