Russian Billionaire’s Son, 19, Allegedly Strangles Mum to Death

The 19-year-old son of Igor Sosin, a renowned Russian retail tycoon, Yegor Sosin, has been arrested for allegedly strangling his mother to death in a hotel room, while under the influence of drugs. Yegor reportedly killed his mum, Anastasia Sosina-Novikova, just after they attended a talk on the importance of family at the Family Constellations and Cosmic Power workshop run by German psychotherapist, Bert Hellinger.

He was arrested after staff at the Koston Royal Hotel in Kazan, Russia alerted police when they heard loud noises coming from their room. He had strangled her with a charger wire according to Russian media.

According to IBTimes, in a police interview, Yegor said: “I met with mother for some kind of treatment procedures, mother gave me some pills. And later in the apartment – that is, our hotel – some strange things started happening, hallucinations, as I see it now.”
