My baby here was already in his fourth month when these pictures were made. It works much better in the first 3-months of their lives and when in a cozy and comfortable environment. If you are dealing with power shortages and living in extremely hot climates without good air-conditioning, you might not want to use a very light material.

Step 1: Spread out a soft baby blanket on a solid surface like the bed or changing top. Place your baby on top with the edge of the blanket at neck level.

Step 2: Fold your baby’s right hand to his chest.

Step 3: Repeat same with your baby’s left hand in a criss cross.

Step 4: Pick the far right side of the blanket, drape it across your baby’s body. Slightly tilting him to the side, tuck the blanket underneath his body.

Step 5: Repeat same movement as above on your baby’s left side.

Step 6: Now, neatly tuck the bottom edge of the blanket underneath your baby to make a cute bundle.

Watch him settle nicely and ready to sleep.
