See How 5-Year-Old Boy Saved Dad’s Life After a Heart Attack

A brave five-year-old boy in rural France, Kevin-Djene, reportedly saved his dad’s life by cycling to get help late at night after he had a heart attack.

He was said to have ran out of their home in just his pyjamas and slippers, grabbed his bike and pedalled into the night. He was found shivering on a road around 10.30pm on Wednesday by a motorist, Jean-Francois Pinot, and raised the alarm that he had to find his mum because his dad ‘died’. His dad got the help he needed in 30 minutes after Pinot called emergency services.

Emergency services found Kevin’s father in cardiac arrest at the family home, in Saint-Pierre-la-Cour, east of Brittany. He was rushed to hospital for treatment and discharged on Thursday.

Mr Pinot told ouest-France:

“I was driving on the main road where… I saw what looked like a child on a bike. This is where I found Kevin-Djene in pyjamas and slippers in the rain freezing cold. The little boy didn’t wait a second to raise the alarm. He said, ‘my dad died’.

This boy is incredible! What he has done is very clever. His mother called me to thank me and tell me that her husband was released from the hospital. I have tears in my eyes because it shows the beauty in the world.”
