Empathetic Fans join Celine Dion as she mourns her husband.
During a public visitation in Montreal on Thursday afternoon, hundreds of empathetic fans join Celine Dion as she pays her final respects to her beloved husband, René Angélil.
Rene, who acted as a mentor and manger to Celine Dion, passed away on the 14th of January after battling throat cancer for a long while.
Rene’s funeral is due to take place today, Friday 22nd, at 3pm at the Notre Dame Basilica, where the couple had wedded in 1994. Celine Dion herself shared on facebook that the burial ceremony could be streamed live on the official website created for the sake of the ceremony, http://reneangelilcommemoration.com/ ,from 3pm today.
Its going to be pretty hard on her.
