PHOTOS: Former Liverpool Coach, Brendan Rodgers, Publicly Proposes To His Girlfriend

Former Liverpool’s coach, Brendan Rodgers, asked his girlfriend, Charlotte Searle, to marry him on bended knees at Times Square in New York. Rodgers spent Valentine’s weekend in New York with Searle who’s 10 years his junior and popped the question in front of picture-taking onlookers.

He presented the lady with a bouquet of roses before popping the question – a little over two months after his divorce from ex-wife Susan was finalized.

An onlooker Liverpool fan, Craig Allen, told the Sun UK, “I saw this bloke proposing and took snaps to show my girlfriend. I was gobsmacked when I saw it was Rodgers. They stopped off in a Mercedes, he popped the question in front of a photographer, put the ring on and away they went.”

Rodgers and his ex-wife, Susan, split earlier last year after 24 years of marriage leaving divorce lawyers to thrash out a deal over his multi-million pound property empire, before their divorce was rubber-stamped on December 7.
