The kidnappers who abducted three Senior Secondary School female students at Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary, Ikorodu in Lagos on Monday night (read here) are reportedly demanding N20 million per student.
According to Vanguard, the kidnappers, who are allegedly militants turned vandals, initially demanded N100 million per student but reduced the ransom following passionate pleas by their contact in the school.
It is not clear if the ransom will be paid or not, however, efforts are said to be ongoing to ensure the girls’ safe return.
