Shocking! Mum Sets Hubby & Kids Ablaze in Kenya

A Kenyan woman, Mary Kabura, allegedly locked up her husband and children in a room and set their home on fire.

According to reports, Murang’a County police said investigations revealed the woman, who has now been arrested, had an argument with her husband, Samuel Kimani, on Sunday evening.

She subsequently locked him up with their two children around 3:00 a.m., set their home on fire and fled the scene.

Neighbours who heard her husband’s screams for help rushed over, broke down the door and extinguished the fire. Unfortunately, he died at the scene. The children were rushed to a hospital, where they were treated for smoke inhalation and later discharged.

Police officers called in found the suspect unconscious near the scene of the crime after attempting suicide. She was arrested following her discharge from the hospital.
