Toddler Shoots Mum After She Bragged About Shooting Lessons On Facebook
Jamie Gilt, a gun-loving Florida mom was shot by her own son just 24 hours after she bragged about teaching her kids how to shoot.
According to a report from her Facebook, she believes she has the right to shoot anyone who threatens her family and plans to teach her kids how to shoot.
Jamie had a loaded gun in her car and her 4-year-old son picked it up from the back seat and accidentally shot his mom while driving.
After the unfortunate incident, she called the attention of a passing Sheriff’s deputy and told him she was shot.
A report claimed she is receiving treatment and in a stable condition in the hospital.
‘This is not a criminal event but an accidental shooting,’ Captain Joseph Wells of the County Sheriff’s office said.
Police officers have not yet filed charges, but said in a statement said, ‘Florida Statute makes it a misdemeanor for a person to store or leave, on a premise under his or her control, a loaded firearm in such a manner that it is likely a child can gain access to the firearm.’
Thank God she survived it.
She’s lucky she didn’t die.
She should be grateful to God that she didn’t die. Maybe that was God’s way of warning her to desist from her plans
