Shocking! Man Rapes 16-Year-Old Girl Under The Pretence Of Offering Her A Job

A 16-year-old girl (name withheld) has been sexually abused by a heartless man under the guise that he was going to offer her a job.

According to Nation, Edidiong Udoh, carried out his evil act on April 23, at his friend’s house along Yemi Adekunle Street, Powerline, in Megida area of Ayobo, Lagos State under the pretence that he was going to employ her as a secretary.

When the victim noticed Udoh’s plan, she shouted for help but he was alleged to have attempted to strangle her and threatened to call his friends to also come and rape her in turns if she doesn’t shut her mouth.

The victim later cooperated with Udoh who raped her.

She later told Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) that Udoh also took photographs of her nude body and threatened to post them online if she alerted the neighbours.

Speaking with Mrs Lola Vivour-Adeniyi, the DSVRT Coordinator, she said Good Samaritan took the victim to Ayobo Police Station where a report of the incident was lodged after which she called her mother.

Further more, Mrs Vivour stated that the victim’s mother later took her to Mirabel Centre where she was examined and the report revealed evidences that she was actually raped consequent upon which the centre reported its findings to the DSVRT.

Udoh, the rapist was later arrested and arraigned yesterday before Magistrate Tajudeen Elias of Ogba Magistrates’ Court on charges of defilement, unlawful carnal knowledge and rape of his victim.

The magistrate was said to have ordered that the defendant be remanded in prison custody pending advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP).
