Omoni Oboli Lends Her Voice To The Black Lives Matter Movement
Nollywood actress and mum of three, Omoni Oboli, took to her Instagram page today to address the recent spate of police-shooting of black men.
She wrote:
“I’ve been fighting myself for the last couple of days… I know we have our own issues here in Nigeria but… I have family scattered all over the US. My kids and I travel to the US and y’all know I have boys, so yes it concerns me and all of us if you ask me because we are one.”
“When we have to have this conversation with our kids, then I’m tired! I’m LIVID that these crimes are going unpunished. When did HUMAN lives start meaning so little? The world has become to hostile. Fix it Jesus, fix it ?? May God heal our world in Jesus name ? #alllivesmatter#blacklivesmatter #rip”
She also shared a photo along with a message urging parents to have conversations about their children’s safety with them.
