Get Involved initiative: President Buhari, Mrs Osinbajo, Others, Lend Their Support
Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari, Governor El-Rufai and wife of the Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo have lend their support to the ‘Get Involved initiative’, a part of Mrs Aisha Buhari‘s Future Assured program.
The ‘Get Involved initiative’ is designed to provide solutions to problems of malnutrition among children in the country. It also attracts the active participation of well meaning Nigerians, private sector and non governmental organizations in response to the alarming outbreak of undernourishment at internally Displaced Camps.
Reports from UNICEF claims that about 2.5 Million Nigerian children suffer from malnutrition with about 500,000 likely to die from the deficiency within a year.
During the launching of the initiative program last month, Mrs Buhari said that with collective efforts from the Nigerian Public no child in Nigeria should lack a good nutritional diet.
