50-year-old singer, Janet Jackson, who is rumoured to be expecting a baby with husband, Wissam Al Mana, 41, may not only give birth to one baby but TWO, earlier than her due date. An insider who is reportedly close to the star revealed this to Star magazine.
At age 50, the fact that Janet Jackson is pregnant is a miracle in itself but having twins is sure to add lots of more excitement, if the reports are true.
“It makes sense that she’d try for two at her age,” the source told the magazine.
The source also made sure to point out that Janet and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, 41, used in vitro fertilization to get pregnant, which increases the chances of conceiving multiples.
The babies are reportedly due later this year.
“She’s been resting a lot and taking good care of herself to avoid problems, so she was really glad to get out of the house that day,” the insider explained about the day Janet was photographed entering a baby store.
Plus, I think she may have wanted to disprove rumors that they used a surrogate. Janet’s so proud that she’s carrying the babies on her own,” the source added.
Whispers of Janet’s pregnancy first began when the star announced that she was postponing her tour back in the spring. She had shared a video, telling fans that she and Wissam were planning a family and she had “doctor’s orders” to rest.
