‘My favorite time is bath time with Jasmine’ – The Rock Reveals As He Talks Fatherhood In New Interview

Dwayne Johnson, popularly known as “The Rock” in a recent interview with PEOPLE, tells how being a father has changed and taught him new things. He shared:

“One of the best things that has happened is the fact that I became a dad at 29, very young [and] at the height of my wrestling career. I was always on the road, splitting my time and then becoming a dad later in life too as well.”

On becoming a dad again almost a decade and a half after the first time, the recently named “sexiest man alive”  by People magazine also shared:

“It’s really been this awesome, interesting, fascinating balance between an amazing, beautiful 15-year-old who teaches me, and her beautiful sister. You just hope that you take the lessons that you learned in life and you can apply them properly. I think I’m a good dad,” he added.

The world’s highest-paid actor and father of two then revealed his favorite time of the day used to be in the morning, when he gets a little time to himself but now, nothing beats bathe time with his 11-month-old daughter.

“My other favorite time (now) is bath time with Jasmine. It’s my job and I love filling up the baby tub and I get her toys, making everything right. And then I say my thing, ‘All right, Daddy’s ready!’ And in she comes and she’s kicking and she’s so happy. I own being the daddy. I love it.”

The former WWE champ also gushed about his partner, Lauren Hashian, revealing the fact that he has a lot of chemistry with her has helped their relationship and family a lot. He added that watching her be a first-time mum and how easy she handles it all has inspired and still inspires him.

“Watching Lauren be a mom has been one of the most enlightening things I’ve ever seen. As a man, you see your lady, your partner, your woman, your one, you see them in a certain light, and then when they become mom, it’s a whole other perspective that if you open your eyes wide enough, it’s like a kaleidoscope. You click it a couple of times and it just changes everything …she’s the champ,” he said.

On being the only male in his home, he added:

“I live in a house full of women. I was raised by women and then I have two daughters, it’s just a house full of estrogen. I’m the only testosterone in the house, so I may make the final decision, but the boss-ness is spread out amongst the girls in my house.”
