Man Exonerated From Raping His Pregnant Girlfriend While She Was In Labour

A couple who cannot be named due to legal reasons, was recently in court over allegations that the man had raped his girlfriend when she was in an advanced stage of labour. He was said to have attacked his partner while she was on her hands and knees trying to relieve the pain of her contractions after going into labour at her home in Hull, East Yorkshire, but a jury cleared him of the rape charge on Friday after half an hour following a five-day trial at Hull Crown Court.

The said couple had been together for seven years. DailyMail reports that Prosecutor Michael Greenhalgh, told the court the woman entered the ‘advanced stages of labour’ while the couple were in bed at around 11.30pm. He had fallen asleep but his girl friend, who was lying naked beside him as usual had not.

When her contractions started, she got on all fours to try and relieve the pain, because she was told that would help, he woke up and then saw her on the floor and told her he was horny, which she replied too asking him if he was serious. He then got behind her and started having sex with her even while she begged and cried asking him to stop because it was very painful.

The court reports that texts between the coupe after the birth were affectionate, probable because of the birth of their  child, but that the tone soon changed when she went back home to their apartment.
