“I really regret my actions”- Father Says after Ferociously Beating Up 10 Year Old Daughter
Saminu Umar, has been arrested for allegedly beating his 10-year-old daughter Naja’atu, to a pulp. As a result of his vicious attack on the little girl, there are fears that the she may lose her sight due to injuries she suffered.
Daily Nigerian.reports that, Umar lost his temper after discovering his daughter had a relative visit without his permission.
Neighbours, reportedly came to her defence after hearing loud cries as a result of the beating she received. They immediately alerted the Police who took Umar into custody. Reports suggests that Umar divorced the victim’s mother eight years ago leaving her in the hands of his new wife.
The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge while standing before Magistrate Aminu Fagge. Expressing regret for his actions, Umar, said:
“It is nothing but the act of the devil, it is a harsh decision. I really regret my actions.”

Regret or no regrets, he should please face the consequences of his actions. This man shouldn’t go unpunished and the girl should be given to her mother please.
