Father Commits Suicide & Kills Daughter to Punish Wife for Divorcing Him

A man has reportedly plunged to his death with his baby daughter in his arms following a row with her mum. He leaped from a hospital window where his daughter was admitted. The incident is said to have occurred in Spain, Madrid.

Local media in the capital, Madrid, said the killer dad was heard shouting out to his wife:

‘You’re going to pay for this with what will most hurt you.’

Seconds after the outburst, the 27-year-old jumped from a fourth-story window with the little girl in his arms, ending both their lives instantaneously.

DailyMail reports that paramedics spent 45 minutes trying to revive the child and her father, who was identified as Vladimir V, but they were both pronounced dead at the scene. The mother who was not named has been admitted and treated for shock. The little girl also was not named. It was learnt that the couple was going through a rough divorce. The deceased girl had been born prematurely and was due to go home after several days in hospital after treatment for a heart problem.

Police are reportedly investigating the incident and gave no statement other than that Vladimir had previously been arrested for domestic abuse following the divorce.
