Chelsea FC Owner Roman Abramovich Splits from Wife of 10 Years
Russian billionaire and Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich and his third wife of 10 years, gorgeous Garage Magazine founder Dasha Zhukova, have separated.
The jet-setting pair, who have two children revealed that the split is amicable. They confirmed their separation in an joint statement, in an exclusive interview with Page six .
After 10 years together, the two of us have made the difficult decision to separate, but we remain close friends, parents and partners in the projects we developed together.
“We are committed to jointly raising our two children. We will also continue to work together as co-founders of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow and the New Holland Island cultural center in Saint Petersburg.”

Before he married Dasha, in 2007, Abramovich gave his second wife, Irina Vyacheslavovna Malandina and mother of his five children £155million, four mansions and other property.
The Chelsea FC owner is also said to have agreed to pay for the couple’s five children. The settlement was the largest settlement in the world at the time unlike his first.

This is the third marriage for Abramovich, who is ranked as No. 139 on Forbes Billionaires List, with a reported $9.1 billion. The couple has a major private art collection.
Last year, Abramovich got the go-ahead to turn three Upper East Side townhomes into an 18,000-square-foot mega-mansion while Dasha has been a fixture at global power business gatherings.

Despite the separation, these two handle a lot of businesses together and cater for their kids. However, they have not revealed the exact reason for their bold step of having to divorce.
