Remarkable Stories Of Moms-in-law Who Put Their Daughters-In-Law First In The Face Of Domestic Violence

A twitter user @ronkizzle93 shared an interesting post about how some moms-in-law reacted when their sons beat their wives.

According to the poster;

”A man beat his wife up, his own mother came and took the wife and their son away. Man doesn’t even know where they are, he has been begging but she has refused to disclose or forgive him.

The guy was even saying his mom always supports his wife every time. He hasn’t seen them in two months now though.”

”Lmao I know one who beat his wife, the mother went to the house, asked her to pack her things and put in the car, when she came back, mom in-law handed her koboko to beat the man.

She was doing it softly, mama collected the whip, beat him everywhere, left with her daughter in-law.”

His mom and wife left for USA without him knowing. He couldn’t see his wife and his own mom for almost 6 months, his siblings abandoned him too.

Some of his friends that heard also abandoned him. When his driver went to one of his siblings that Oga wants to kill himself, his mom then called him and they all came back and held a family meeting….I heard he cried all through the meeting, begging his wife and all. He never tried it AGAIN.”

”Mama said she didn’t go prostrate to marry someone’s daughter only for her son to make her in-laws insult her because of him.

She told him she doesn’t want any man beating her own daughters too. Baba never tried it since then.”

”If only someone’s mother I know made this exact same move. Things would have turned out differently for some people….but oh well. Eventually the wife left…but the children are always the ones that suffer these things in the end…”

”We need mother’s like this. Train up a child in the way he should grow. If he grows and forget, train him again.”
