Children, especially teenagers are quite a handful. As a parent who constantly has to guide them and curb their excesses, it’s easy to get worked up and lose your cool by punishing or disciplining them.

Punishment implies repaying someone with what he or she deserves when they do not act favorably. Discipline, on the other hand, is future-focused, always geared towards future acts. Sometimes, it may require the combination of the two.

Popular Nigerian model and video vixen, Beverly Osu recently took to her Instagram page to celebrate her mom’s birthday which took place two days ago and also to appreciate her for the discipline and punishment she received from her during her teen years.

According to the Delta state born actress who is mostly known as a housemate of the popular Big Brother Africa, season eight, she is the only girl and last born of her parents. She was tagged as a problematic child.
