‘He Moved My Things And Renovated My Apartment For Her’ -Hausa Women On How They Found Out Their Husbands Were Taking New Wives

Some Hausa women have shared how they found out that their husbands were taking new wives.

In a question and answer session with a popular Hausa blog, HausaRoom, some of the women said that their husbands were gracious enough to inform them a day or month before the wedding, others said they weren’t told.

According to one woman, her husband moved her things away and renovated her apartment for the new wife while she was away.

Another woman said her husband lied about being involved in a car accident but his driver confirmed to her that he was actually getting married to another woman in Kano.

One woman said she found out when she saw his wedding photos on social media and another’s husband broke the news after a lovemaking session.
