Popular On-Air personality, Toke Makinwa has asserted that men don’t like nice women, and when women are overly nice, men take them for fools.
According to the show host, when women display an excessive amount of kindness or niceness, men tend to perceive them as gullible or can be easily taken advantage of. She shared her thoughts on the most recent episode of her podcast, TokeMoments.
Makinwa said, “Men don’t like women that are nice…”
However, her guest on the show, skit maker and comic actress, Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, professionally known as Kiekie rebuffed her analogy.
Both celebrities further went on to dialogue on how to get the best out of their men while maintaining their position as women.
Kiekie who is happily married and a mother of one said:
“No, let me rephrase that. This is what I believe. For lack of a better word, I feel like when you know how to put a man to a nice use, then he is more functional. See, men like to be reminded what to do.
We have a child, the baby will go to crèche. My husband knows that the baby needs go to crèche but he will forget and hurry into the car to go to work. I will now remind him and he will be like, ‘Ah! I forgot.’
