‘This Is Pure Greed’ – Nnewi Man Laments As He Receives Marriage List From His Bride’s Family Ahead Of Their Traditional Wedding, Other Men React

A Nigerian man from Nnewi, Anambra state of Nigeria, has reacted bitterly to the marriage list he received from his bride’s family ahead of their wedding.

In a post shared on his X handle, the man shared a screenshot of a piece of paper with the list of items he was asked to provide before he can get married to his woman.

The list had all kinds of things including cartons of soft and hot drinks and packs of cigarettes among others.

Reacting to the list, the man said it is crazy and that it smacks of pure greed.

Also reacting to his post and the list, some men that are married to ladies from the East, said the list he received is not much compared to the ones they received.

One even said the list he received is one of the reasons he doesn’t speak to his father in-law.
