A mother from Virginia, Mellisa Bennett has been arrested for allegedly selling her 18-year-old daughter to men for sex so she could make money to take care of household bills and other expenses.

According to an affidavit,Ā 34-year-old Mellisa Bennett āpersuaded and harassedā herĀ 18-year-old daughter to commit sexual acts for money.Ā The daughter told investigators that Bennett would take her to the āschoolhouseāĀ located in the 3100 block of Tidewater Drive to perform prostitution acts.
Investigators say text messages show Bennett instructed her daughter to meet with various men ābecause they needed money.ā Bennett admitted to the crimes and told investigators she asked for the money to pay for rent, hotel stays, gas and cell phone bills. She also said she accompanied her daughter to protect her from the men she planned to meet.
The incidents reportedly occurred just after the victimās 18th birthday, between late AprilĀ untilĀ June 11.
Bennett was arrested July 17 and charged with pandering. Sheās due back in court in September.
They should please stop calling her a mother. She’s a demon.
