See What Dad Did to 19-Year-Old Daughter for Dating Man He Disapproved Of

A Muslim dad in Germany, Asadullah Khan, has reportedly admitted strangling his 19-year-old daughter, Lareeb, to death with his bare hands after finding out that police caught her shoplifting condoms to have sex with a boyfriend he disapproved of.

According to DailyMail, Khan and his wife, Shazia, sent Lareeb’s sister, Nida, 14, to a relative on the evening of the murder in January to make room for the killing. They subsequently dressed the dead dental technician in her clothes, put her in a wheelchair to convey her from their high-rise apartment to the family car, drove to a secluded embankment in their home city of Darmstadt in Germany, and dumped the corpse.

The 51-year-old dad, originally from Pakistan, who confessed to the killing in tears, said he loved his daughter but killed her because she brought ‘dishonour’ on the family by loving a boy he didn’t approve of. He had envisaged she would accept to have an arranged marriage just like him and her mother.

The girl’s mum, Shazia, 41, in a statement read by her lawyer, said: ‘I couldn’t stop him. I have rheumatism and didn’t have the strength to fight him off. I wanted to scream, but I couldn’t. Lareeb stayed away from the home for several nights in a row and stopped wearing the headscarf. One day we received a letter from the police saying she had been caught trying to steal condoms. At this point it became clear that there was sexual contact. When I showed the letter to my husband he snapped.’

Their other daughter, Nida, however, said her mother is just as guilty as her dad, and refused to acknowledge her in court on Friday.

Nida said: ‘My Mama was not suppressed, she could do what she wanted. She used to hit me with a stick. We were never allowed to talk about her boyfriend. My father used to say my sister should be forcibly married in Pakistan.’

The court heard Nida is now in therapy and has nothing more to do with her parents.

Khan and Shazia are still on trial for murder.
