The man who operated the business from his home, will sit and wait with his 5-year-old child in the family car while his wife attended to people they had contacted through the internet.
The man and his wife were both arrested but only the man faces charges of pimping because prosecutors believe he was exploiting his wife.
Prostitution is legal in France but soliciting for business is against the law. The man who has been released on bail faces 10 years in jail if found guilty.
