Couple Having Sex In Car Shot Dead in ‘Crime of Passion’

Murder cops in Philadelphia are investigating the death of cheating lovers who were reportedly shot dead while they were having sex in the back of their car, reports Mirror News.

The pair have been identified as 32-year-old Lisa Smith, a mother of five, and 25-year-old Shakoor Arline. Police questioning the shooting are investigating along the lines of a ‘crime of passion’.

Smith and Arline were together in the back of a vehicle when investigators believe someone else opened a door and fired nine shots. Several of the bullets hit the victims in the head. Their bodies were found by maintenance workers near the historic Fairmount Park building Lemon Hill, in Philadelphia.

Police say the pair of lovers were into relationships with other people, prompting homicide captain James Clark to declare,

“So obviously that’s where our investigation is going to start, because somebody knew that they were in the park at that time and obviously had an issue with that. You’ve got nine shots fired; all of them head shots to both of the victims, so it appears to be very much a crime of passion.”

No arrest has been made yet and officers are ruling out robbery as a motive for killing the pair.
