See How This Hubby Captured Wife’s Pregnancy

In place of the regular maternity photo shoot, a creative first-time dad got busy with a mix of non-toxic and skin-tolerant paints, materials and props, and turned his wife’s baby bump into a work of art by incorporating it into scenic landscapes.

“We wanted to create some new and really creative pregnancy pictures. Something our family and friends haven’t seen yet,” the graphic designer and photographer, Simon Schaffrath, told Mashable.

The first-time parents-to-be have decorated their soon to arrive baby boy, Theodor’s nursery with the landscapes which took Schaffrath and his wife, Saskia Repp, a week to brainstorm, shoot and edit.

“These pictures show how much we enjoy this time and how happy we are. And that’s something the whole world should know! [Saskia] loves them and she is really happy we have something that will always remember us this special time,” Schaffrath said.
