GRAPHIC: You Won’t Believe What Man Allegedly Did to 3-Year-Old Niece in Ondo

Samuel Omosaba, 42, has been nabbed for allegedly killing his three-year-old niece, Adunbarin, by beheading her at Ilepa, Ikare Akoko, in the Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Omosaba, said to be the older brother of the deceased’s mum, allegedly committed the crime on Tuesday for ritual purposes.

According to Punch, a source said, “He has no job and was desperate to be rich; so he went to a herbalist in Ipe Akoko for money ritual and the herbalist asked him to bring the head of a young girl.”

It was gathered that the deceased’s mother, Bunmi, used to keep the little girl in the care of her mother whenever she went to the market, but on the day, the suspect allegedly took her to his room where he allegedly killed her.

A neighbour was said to have raised the alarm after seeing what had happened, calling others to the scene.

It was gathered that the suspect attempted to flee the scene, but was prevented by the youths of the area.

“It took the timely intervention the policemen from the Ikare Divisional Police Station to prevent the suspect from being lynched by youths of the town,” a source said.
