Teen Mum Suffering From Post Natal Depression Ends Life

Saffie Johnson, a teenager who became a wife at 17 and a mother at 18, wrote in her diary , “today I will die,” before she finally hung herself following her post-natal depression.

According to a report from THESUN, the teen mum had decided to be a wife and mum irrespective of her age but unfortunately, she found herself struggling with depression after she was separated from her husband.

After the separation, she reportedly moved in with her mother, step-father and brother. As soon as she noticed everyone had left home, she left a note in her diary, saying, “today I will die” before finally taking her own life.

News of the teen mum’s death got to her estranged husband, Daniel Johnson, a 22-year-old company driver who broke into tears and narrated how he tried his best possible to help her overcome her depression.
