Nigerian Dancer/ Single Mum, Korra Obidi Shares Her Regrets As She Recounts The Role Of Netizens In Her Marriage Crash
Popular Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi, has vowed never to flaunt her relationship online again as she recounts the role netizens played in her marriage crash.
It was to the shock of many when the one-time power couple, Korra and her American therapist husband, who always displayed a beautiful marriage online, announced their breakup a few days after the birth of their second child, Athena.
What followed the shocking news of their separation was a series of dragging as Korra’s estranged husband, Justin Dean alleged that she cheated on him, and she also opened up about what she went through in the marriage.
At the time, Justin took to his Instagram page to confirm that his marriage to the entertainer had crashed. He also stated that he had filed for divorce from the dancer as he can’t condone being mistreated.
Dean said that he tried his best to make the marriage work until he gave up. He expressed how heartbroken and sad he was over the incident, especially when he supported and loved her with all of him. Breaking down, he added that he doesn’t deserve the way he was treated.
Well, in a recent video making the rounds online, the mother-of-two admitted that flaunting her relationship online contributed to their messy split.
According to the social media content creator and choreographer, while she and Justin were still together, some jealous social media users would slide into his DM to complain about her.
She added that the ‘jealous goats’ on social media kept telling her husband bad tales about her which made her husband threw her out of his house just 5 days after childbirth.
In light of this, Korra has vowed never to flaunt her relationship online henceforth if she finds another lover, no matter how beautiful it may be, to avoid a repeat of what happened in her first marriage.
In her words:
“Me, if I have another bae, I will never put him online, you people will destroy it like you destroyed my first marriage. I remember those times someone will go and email him; look at what your wife is doing everyday, how will he not run away how will he not tell me pack out of my house five days postpartum.”
