Nigerian Mum-Of-2 Seeks Counsel As Her Mother In-law Prepares To Come And Live With Them

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to seek for advice over an issue concerning her marriage.

In a shared online, the mother of two identified as Victoria Moneke, revealed that her mother in-law is coming to stay with her, her husband and their two children.

Victoria said though she doesn’t have a problem with her coming to live with them in their 2-bedroom apartment, her problem is her husband’s decision on the matter.

According to her, she, her husband and kids use one room while the spare room is locked due to her brother in-law’s property that was kept there.

She went further to reveal that her husband is not ready to open the door for his mother to stay but is planning for her to be sleeping in the one room they share while he will be sleeping in the parlor.

Disturbed by this plan, Victoria is seeking advice on what to do because her marriage is still young.

“Evening lovely people, please I want to ask a question, my mother in-law is about to stay with us, don’t have problem with that. It is a 2bedroom apartment, one room is locked due to my brother in-law that lived there before traveling out, reasons b it dat some of their property are being lock there.

My question is, right now my husband is planning for him to be sleeping in the parlor while his mum sleeps in the room with us. I have two children.

Is it right if I talk to him to open d other room? We can adjust something there for the mum to stay, my marriage is still young we sometimes need privacy to talk and so on.”
