‘If I Were My Daughter, I Wouldn’t Date Me’ – Comedian Mark Angel Drops Bombshell About His Complicated Love Life And Failed Marriage
Nigerian comedian and skit-maker, Mark Angel has left many talking with his bombshell revelation about his love life and marital journey.
The father of one, in an interview with Teju Babyface Oyelakin on his podcast ‘King of Talk’, revealed that he was secretly married and secretly divorced.
The Nigerian entertainer popular for his skits with the young Emmanuella, admitted that his current dating life is complicated, as he is in a relationship with multiple women.
To prove how bad his current relationship status is, Mark emphasised that he wouldn’t entertain the thought of dating someone like himself and would never allow his daughter to date someone like him.
According to him, he was in an uncommitted relationship with different women.
He said,
“I was once married, I never said it in any podcast… I got married in secret and I was divorced in secret. I don’t even know if am dating anyone naw. I have 5 babes, If it was my daughter, I wouldn’t date me”.
The award-winning skit-maker didn’t give further details about his ex-wife, but some netizens while trying to sug her out, pointed out how she was always behind the scenes in many of his skits.

He also discussed the challenges he faced, including attacks from the Nigerian government, and how he achieved the status of being the biggest YouTube star on the continent.
Mark Angel’s revelation about his secret marriage and divorce came as a surprise to many of his fans.
While some applauded him for keeping his relationship life private, others faulted him for his complicated love life.

Mark isn’t the only public figure who has gotten married and divorced in secret.
Last year, Mavins founder, Don Jazzy shocked the world when he revealed he was once married to an American model and author, Michelle Jackson, at the age of 20, though the marriage crashed two years later.
According to the Mavin Records boss, the marriage failed because he devoted his time to music and neglected his family.
