The wake-keeping service for Nollywood actress Henrietta Kosoko held yesterday, 9th of June, 2016.

The service was attended by her husband, Jide Kosoko and her four children, and also close friends and family.

At the service, the deceased’s husband gave a very moving speech while her son, Taiwo Olowo, who is also a rising musician, gave a tribute performance.

Kosoko stated this in a statement he released yesterday,

“With a heavy heart, I hereby officially announce the death of my wife, Henrietta Kosoko. It happened at about 10:30 am on Monday 6th of June, 2016 at Al-Jolad hospital. There will be a Christian wake-keep and artiste performances on Thursday 9th of June , 2016 from 4 pm to 9 pm, at LTV 8, Agidingbi Ikeja.

”The Burial service at the Catholic Church and interment follows at Atan cemetery for Friday 10th of June 2016“.

Henrietta Kosoko, wife of veteran actor, Jide Kosoko died at a hospital in Abeokuta, Ogun state on Monday, June 6, 2016, after a prolonged battle with Diabetes.

She will be laid to rest today, June 10, 2016.
